A valid ID is required at the time of your service. If you do not have a physical valid ID, we cannot proceed with your appointment and a new deposit will be required to book again.

Are currently ill with a cold, flu or other illness
Received Botox in the last 2 weeks
following pre-care & aftercare:
Following your pre-care leading up to your appointment is essential for your best results possible. These restrictions will help to avoid any chance of excessive bleeding, swelling, sensitivity or skin reactivity & will help to contribute to predictable & beautifully healed results.
Reading up on the required aftercare for your service will help you prepare for what to expect immediately following your tattoo as well as how to support your healing process. It is absolutely imperative to follow your aftercare precisely.
Final outcome of your tattoo is greatly impacted by adherence to both before & aftercare as well as other factors outside of my control.
Each procedure has different protocols to prepare & care your your treatment & it is the client’s responsibility to arrive to the appointment for their chosen procedure having followed all required pre-care guidelines as well as being prepared for the process.
the day of your appointment:
DO NOT consume caffeine for 24 hours leading up to your service
DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen
DO NOT consume 'pre-work out' or energy drinks
DO NOT consume alcohol the night prior or day of procedure
DO arrive hydrated, fed & well-informed about the service you scheduled
DO trust your artist, the process & bring the good vibes (you know I will! ☻)
If you feel the need to bring a supportive parent or friend, we ask that they stay in our lobby area to protect the sanitation of our artist area & the experience of other clients in our shared space
silent appointments:
You are always welcome to request a silent appointment. This is a safe space for you to do so.
If you'd like to slip in some headphones & avoid conversation, you are welcome to. Feel free to inform me when you come in or email me beforehand.
results:
Each individual is different & healed results will vary. As much as I would like to, I cannot guarantee results for anyone.
Lifestyle & adherence to proper pre & aftercare will greatly impact the outcome.
A minimum of two sessions is strongly recommended & is the standard process in order to achieve desired results.
In some cases, additional touch ups may be required.
These procedures are intended to enhance individual features, not to replace the use of makeup. All risks & uncertainty of the processes involved in cosmetic tattooing is agreed upon & understood by the client before booking an appointment.
As a general rule, the tattooed area will heal around 40% lighter in color & tone compared to immediate results. As your cosmetic tattoo heals, you are ultimately seeing the pigment through a layer of skin.
At the time of your appointment, if it is clear that the nature of the process is not understood & there is uncertainty, hesitation or a sense that this is a decision made on impulse, I reserve the right to refuse your service & the deposit will be forfeited.
deposits:
All appointments require a deposit to book.
This deposit is non-refundable & non transferable. It will go toward the total cost of your service. Your deposit ensures that you are serious about the appointment.
Cancelling your appointment at anytime will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
If you no-show your appointment, your card on file will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost & you will not be able to book with me again.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be canceled & your booking fee will be forfeited. You will be required to pay a new booking fee to book a new appointment.

final payment:
Final payment is due the day of your appointment. Your final payment amount will be the total cost of your service, minus your deposit amount.
Cash, Zelle or Venmo is preferred. Cards are also accepted with an additional fee but please no personal checks.

rescheduling. no-show's & lateness:
I require at least 48 hours notice to reschedule your appointment. Anything beyond that will require a new deposit. I allow for a rescheduling once, 48 hours before your appointment, anything beyond that will require a new deposit to book again.
If you cancel your appointment for any reason, your booking fee will not be refunded.

second sessions & color refreshes:
These appointments are reserved for returning clients only. If you are a new client to me with previous work, you will need approval before booking & it will be priced as an initial service.
The second session perfecting appointment following your first appointment is scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks after your initial service.
Second session's must be scheduled within 6-8 weeks of your initial session (cut off is 10 weeks) or or it will be considered a color refresh & charged accordingly. This is because cosmetic tattoo pigments are designed to gradually fade over time & it is imperative that we build the foundation of your cosmetic tattoo before that begins to take place.
Anything booked beyond 6 months of the initial appointment will be considered a new session & will be charged the associated rate.
If a 'color refresh' is scheduled after 24 months of the initial appointment, it will be priced as a first session appointment.
Refresh appointments are recommended every 12-18 months to maintain your results.

coverups & previous work:
If you have previous work done by a another artist, you MUST send me a clear photo via email hello@nikkivonfluff.com for pre-approval before booking.
Although you may feel the tattoo is light & easily reworkable, there are many other factors that are taken into consideration when deciding whether you are a good candidate for a coverup. In some cases, removal/lightening of the tattoo may be the best course of action. It is imperative to be open to the potential of this suggestion before we may begin to work together as it is a priority to do what’s best for your skin longterm.
If you make your appointment without receiving approval from me & it is deemed at the time of your session that I am unable to work with your existing tattoo - your deposit will be forfeited & you agree to pay 50% of your remaining balance using the card associated with your session. This is to compensate for loss of time by not reaching out prior.
To avoid any unnecessary charges, please reach out to be before booking for approval &/or advice on how to proceed.
